Dr. Blanchette is originally from Canada and did her Podiatry education at the Univerisité du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR). After 4 years she graduated in 2009 and worked for 1 year in a private practice in Trois-Rivières. Her desire to become a surgeon made her move to the United States.
In 2010 she relocated to Manhattan and completed the 4th year of Podiatry School at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. This allowed her to obtain surgical training in the states.
During her residency, she underwent extensive surgical training at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx. She is well versed in all areas of Podiatric care, including surgery of the foot, rearfoot and ankle. Dr. Blanchette served as chief resident in her final year of training.
After serving the Princeton area in an Orthopedic group for seven years, Dr. Blanchette decided to venture out on her own to be closer to home and serve her community.
Dr. Blanchette is triple board certified. She holds certifications by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ABFAS), the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM) and the American Board of Wound Management (ABWM). She is fluent in both French and English. She has hospital privileges at Penn Medicine Princeton Health in Plainsboro, NJ as well as at Overlook Medical Center in Summit. During her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, son, twin girls and their adorable dog.
